Quickbooks Error 147 Method 1: By rebuilding and verifying data. 

  • Open the file menu in the Quickbooks. 
  • Reach to the option of Verify data from the utilities tab of Quickbooks. 
  • It will find the issues in the data file. 
  • Once the rebuilding is done, reach back to the utilities tab and click on rebuild data option. 
  • Let it repair the data. 

Quickbooks Error Code 147 Method 2: By creating the backup. 

  • In the file menu, go to the option of Backup company.
  • Now, make a clock on ‘Create local backup’.
  • From this window to create local backup, choose the option of local backup. 
  • Click on Options and from the pop up which appears, click on browse and select a location for the backup copy. 
  • Click OK.

  • Download and install QuickBooks file doctor tool. 
  • Once the tool is installed on the desktop, you need to run the tool. 
  • QB file doctor tool will recognize the issues in the file and will repair it.

Quickbooks Error 147 Method 4: Updating Quickbooks. 

  • From the Quickbooks’ help menu, go to the tab of ‘Update Quickbooks’.
  • From the list of updates, you have to choose the update option and allow them to download. 
  • Once the updates are installed, close Quickbooks and restart your system.
